Graduate Students

Scholarships, grants, and stipends for Rice graduate students are coordinated by their department, while loans are processed through the Office of Financial Aid. You must fill out a FAFSA if you are interested in obtaining any Guaranteed Federal Loans. No tax information is necessary unless you are asked for it for verification while filling out the FAFSA. If you are, please mail us copies of your tax return, W-2 forms and verification worksheet which can be found at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Our priority deadline for the fall semester is May 15, but we process aid requests throughout the year. Proceeds from loans will be credited to any balance due to Rice, and excess funds will be issued to you as a check from the Cashier's Office.
