International Students
Rice University will offer need-based financial aid to a limited number of international undergraduate applicants entering Fall 2010. Citizens of foreign countries who apply under Regular Decision and request need-based aid will be reviewed as a separate group. There is no financial aid available for international transfer applicants or international students applying under Early Decision. Rice University will be using the CSS Profile for 2010 for international students applying for aid.
The application process is quick and simple. Here's how it works:
Students register for the PROFILE service online on the College Board website: ( https://profileonline.collegeboard.com/prf/index.jsp) and indicate the colleges to which they will apply. Students can also visit EducationUSA Advising Centers, which are located around the world, to learn more about scholarship aid and register online. Based on registration information and college choices, each student receives a personalized PROFILE application online. Once submitted, the application is processed by the College Board and an electronic data file containing the student application data is sent to Rice University.
All international students must complete the International Student Financial Statement and submit to the Office of Admissions.
