Rice students may be eligible to apply for additional federal loan funds if enrolled at least half-time in for-credit hours at Rice University during the summer sessions. If you have registered and would like to apply for summer financial aid, then complete the Summer Financial Aid Request Form before May 15, 2017. To verify your eligibility, please consult with your financial aid counselor.
Tuition and Fees for 2017 Summer School:
Rice Undergraduate Students: $1000.00 per credit hour
Rice Graduate Students: $1000.00 per credit hour
Late Registration Fee (for all students after deadline): $75 nonrefundable

Loan Limits for Summer Sessions:
Summer I: Tuition costs only
Summer II: Tuition costs only
Summer III: Tuition costs only
Summer IV: Tuition costs only plus $4,500 expense allowance.
Enrolled in Multiple Summer Sessions: Tuition cost plus $2000 expense allowance.
Full Session/Graduate Research: Tuition costs plus $4,500 expense allowance
Summer Study Abroad: Program costs as determined by the International Programs Office
*Undergraduate students who are not study abroad students may not borrow more than $2000 total above tuition costs for the summer sessions and must be enrolled in at least 6 hours.
If your enrollment changes during the summer sessions, you must notify the Office of Financial Aid. Our office allows loan funds to be cancelled by request within 14 days of the loan disbursement date. To submit your request, you may email email@example.com.
